The Republic of Yarlistan is located in an unknown part of the world. Only its inhabitants know where it is, and its location is a well-kept secret within the community.
The country was founded approximately 2,100 years ago under mysterious circumstances and has existed ever since without the knowledge of anyone outside the Republic.
The Republic consists of eleven different regions, each of which serves a unique function within the country. Yarlopolis is the capital and the seat of government. The Cabinet is situated there, and this is where the most important decisions are made.
Yarlistan is heavily influenced by the principle of anonymity, and everyone has the right to remain anonymous. Knowledge, wisdom, and esoteric scriptures form the foundation of Yarlistan’s doctrine. These principles unite all citizens under one flag. Together, we stand strong and uphold the morals and virtues of the Republic.

Yarlopolis
Yarlopolis is the capital of Yarlistan, and this is where all major decisions are made. The city is heavily guarded, and no unauthorized individuals are permitted to enter. It was built approximately 2,100 years ago and remains standing to this day, as it has never been captured or subjected to an attack.
Several monuments throughout the city represent Yarlianity and the eternal power of Yarl teh Gawd. These monuments are considered sacred and shall forever remain where they stand.
Citizens may choose whether they wish to reveal their identities or remain anonymous. The knowledge of Yarlistan is centralized in Yarlopolis, although the other regions are responsible for their respective functions.

The Forgotten Hills
The Forgotten Hills earned their name because the region is rarely spoken of. Hidden within the hills lies the secret of the holy number 1337, and no one without authorization is permitted to enter the area. It is heavily guarded by the Legion of 1337, whose soldiers protect it with their lives.
The region is covered in dense forests and surrounded by mountains. Deep within one of these mountains lies the entrance to the Cave of 1337. Reaching the cave is nearly impossible, and even those who succeed would never survive an encounter with the soldiers of the Legion of 1337 who guard it.
The Forgotten Hills are a sacred place within the Republic of Yarlistan, and only those who know the secret are welcome there. The Vault of 1337 lies deep within the cave and cannot be entered without the approval of Yarl teh Gawd.
Temple of Wisdom
The Temple of Wisdom is located in the northern part of Yarlistan and serves as a sacred place where citizens can gain insight and wisdom. The Yarlteller resides within the temple and possesses all the knowledge and esoteric wisdom one could imagine. He is also able to foresee possible futures, both good and bad.
When disciples and citizens have completed their studies at the Academy of Wisdom but become lost on their journey or desperately need answers, they travel to the Temple of Wisdom to seek guidance from the Yarlteller.
Citadel Of The Scripture
The Citadel of the Scripture is where the inhabitants of Yarlistan gather to study and share knowledge. The sacred Yellow Scripture is a book that guides the Republic of Yarlistan. The older and wiser citizens pass their knowledge down to younger generations, and in the Golden Library, one can find almost any information that may be needed.
Knowledge, truth, and wisdom are taught within the Citadel. It is common for citizens to remain there for several weeks while studying, reflecting, and gathering wisdom.
The Anonymous Valley
The Anonymous Valley is a place where anonymous citizens can live in complete freedom, as the region is largely self-governed. Its inhabitants create their own laws, establish their own norms, and are free to live as they choose. The community itself performs the functions of a government. Its members maintain order together, resolve internal disputes, and ensure that the rules they have created are followed.
There is also a building in Yarlopolis known as the Anonymous Academy, where anonymous citizens stay whenever they visit the capital. They follow their own doctrine and possess sacred esoteric knowledge that may only be shared with those deemed worthy.

Yavaria
Yavaria is a region located in the southern part of Yarlistan. It is largely self-governed but remains loyal to the central government in Yarlopolis. The Yavarians are traditionalists who prefer to live according to customs that have existed for hundreds of years. Using cattle to plough the fields is still a common practice, and the people of Yavaria generally live simple and peaceful lives.
One of Yavaria’s greatest specialities is its beer, Yeissbier. It is a traditional top-fermented beer brewed with malted barley and a generous proportion of wheat malt. Every year, Yavaria hosts a major public celebration known as Yarltoberfest. During the festival, people gather to celebrate the harvest and drink Yeissbier together. Citizens from across the Republic of Yarlistan travel to Yavaria to participate in the festivities.
Yavaria is one of the most prosperous regions in Yarlistan, where both beer and money flow freely. Much of this prosperity can be attributed to Yanita, the Minister of Business and Art Dealing. She has an exceptional talent for conducting business and negotiating profitable agreements. She is also responsible for Yavaria’s great art collection and possesses unique knowledge of art and valuable artefacts.
Yavaria is governed by Jyrgen which is Yanitas husband, he serves as the head of the region. He ensures that its operations are managed securely and efficiently and that its laws and traditions are respected. His analytical nature and long-term vision have helped Yavaria remain stable and prosperous.

The Endless Desert
The Endless Desert is a mysterious and well-kept secret, hidden from the public eye. Merchants travel there to trade goods from the southern countries that lie beyond the borders of Yarlistan. Yessaria is the capital of the region and is renowned for its ancient and esoteric system of government. The Endless Desert has remained largely unchanged since it was first established approximately 2,100 years ago.
The region is governed by King Yabolon, an intellectual and spiritually gifted ruler who leads with a sharp mind and follows the guidance of the spirits. He commands the respect of his people without resorting to violence. However, those who betray or challenge him soon regret their actions.
The region is home to many magnificent monuments, including the legendary Hanging Gardens of Yabolyon.

The Meme Wastes
The Meme Wastes are a desolate region of Yarlistan where all shitposts, bad memes, useless jokes, and other unwanted content eventually end up. Nobody wants them, so they are automatically sent there to decay. This fate applies not only to the memes, jokes, and posts themselves, but also to the people who created them. Anyone who repeatedly produces such content risks being banished to the Wastes.
Failure to obey the laws and regulations of the Republic of Yarlistan may also result in those responsible being exiled to the Meme Wastes.
The environment is lifeless, rotten, and foul-smelling. Nothing of value grows there, and very few who enter ever return. It is not a place where anyone would want to end up.
The Golden Coast
The Golden Coast is the cultural capital of the Republic of Yarlistan. It is a region where fine art, beautiful music, and magnificent dance performances flourish. Since the founding of the Republic approximately 2,100 years ago, the Golden Coast has preserved its unique traditions and way of life. Citizens travel there to enjoy peaceful holidays filled with excellent food, relaxing music, and unique entertainment.
The region is also known for its extraordinary natural beauty, particularly its marine life. Rare creatures that cannot be found anywhere else in the world inhabit the waters surrounding the Golden Coast.
The region is governed by several prominent leaders. Yan serves as the Minister of Arts and oversees its artwork, theatres, museums, and cultural institutions. His extensive knowledge and wisdom make him highly respected in this field. He is a man of great intellect who is also known for his excellent sense of humour.
Ryckard is another of the region’s leaders and serves as the Minister of Aquatics. He possesses extensive experience in his field and knows every species of fish found within Yarlistan. He also knows the waters and seas of the Republic by heart. Ryckard is famous for his great sense of humour, so do not be surprised if he makes you laugh until you can barely breathe.

The Yellow Forest
The Yellow Forest is a remote region covered in dense woodland and is extremely difficult to reach. It serves as the primary training ground of the Legions, where soldiers prepare for battle. Because the region is so isolated, the Legions can conduct realistic military exercises without disturbing the rest of Yarlistan.
The Minister of Defense, Yngis Khan, rules the region with an iron fist. He demands discipline, strength, and absolute obedience from every soldier. Those who disobey orders or step out of line risk being sent to the Meme Wastes.
The Yellow Forest is where boys are transformed into men through rigorous training in the art of combat. Their intellectual education, however, takes place at the Citadel of the Scripture and in the capital city of Yarlopolis.
Ordinary citizens rarely visit the region unless they must pass through it to reach another part of Yarlistan.

The Northern Mountains
The Northern Mountains are a region where citizens can live freely and love deeply. “Live and let live” is the region’s motto, and its inhabitants are known for their welcoming attitude towards everyone. The atmosphere is warm and joyful, encouraging cooperation and strong relationships among the community. Dancing and celebrations take place every day, accompanied by magnificent food enjoyed by all.
The region is home to vast and untouched natural landscapes, making it an ideal place for growing crops and cultivating botanical life. Only natural, clean, and high-quality food is consumed there. Those who travel to the Northern Mountains are never judged, as the local culture allows everyone to live freely and be whoever they wish to be.
The region has two leaders. The first is Yarin, the Minister of Botanical Cultivation, who is responsible for the region’s vast and beautiful gardens. She possesses extensive knowledge of its flora. In addition to her botanical expertise, she has a remarkable intellect and a deep love of books and learning.
The other leader is her husband, Yola, the Minister of Dancing. He possesses an almost mysterious and esoteric understanding of dance and can perform some of the most complex and delightful dances imaginable. He is also a man of great wisdom, capable of offering profound, almost godlike insights that help others solve even the most difficult problems.
